New flavors are popping up all over Port Arthur and our tastebuds are excited! From the highly anticipated beef buffet at Seoul Korean BBQ to big, bold burgers from Daddio’s Burger, and all the Soiree and Vine charcuterie boxes in between, the SETX food scene will soon come to recognize Port Arthur as a place for delicious dishes and innovative tastes. It is no doubt influenced by the different cultures of people who live here.

This three in one concept on Jimmy Johnson Blvd includes an authentic Mexican restaurant, a Bar & Night Club and a 24-hour drive thru taqueria. The owners have built out a large, multi-level outdoor patio that overlooks the golf course. The bar and patio offer reserved tables and bottle service. You can kick back after a round of golf or plan for a full night out with friends that includes dinner, drinks and a bar in one.

Ever heard of Reel Cajun and Diamond Pool Hall? Tony Nguyen and his team are bringing another exciting business to Port Arthur in the form of Seoul Korean BBQ. Customers can expect an interactive experience with Korean-style grilling taking place at each customers’ table. For most residents, it will be a new way to dine. However, the end results will be a fun time and great, unique eats!

Take your favorite sports bar and add in a Cajun twist. Tucked away just off Jimmy Johnson Boulevard, Walk On’s Sports Bistreaux offers a spacious environment for 400 patrons including a full bar, a patio to enjoy the sun, action-packed tvs with the latest sports game, and the menu of the year with freshly prepared everything from the crispy gooey mozzarella logs, to the big ole Hickory burger, and even the bread pudding made from scratch with Krispy Kreme donuts.

Not your average mac and cheese, these bowls are worth a try! Port Arthur is one of Texas’ few I Heart Mac and Cheese franchises which focuses on toasted grilled cheese sandwiches and macaroni bowls soaking in melted cheddar. Owners Jennifer and Jonathan Bartnett say, “Don’t forget a cup of the famous bite-sized chocolate chip cookies!”

One of Beaumont’s favorite burger joints just opened up shop just across the highway from Central Mall. The new location includes hip wallpaper and the same great flavors that Southeast Texans are accustomed to. Owner Dave Jones and his son Charlie wanted to bring a great vibe to Port Arthur — and they did exactly that!
1229 Boston Ave, Nederland
A treat for the eyes and mouth! Soiree and Vine has brought the idea of lunchables to a whole new level. Offering counter service, this locally owned shop takes pre-orders daily for stunning charcuterie boxes filled with specialty items including Genoa salami, smoked gouda, Kalmata olives, as well as smaller versions of gourmet lunchables to-go, prosciutto, apple and brie wraps and more! Any the charcuterie items are customizable at this Boston Ave shop.

New owners bring a family-friendly vibe to this community staple near Port Acres. The Rodair Bar & Grill offers staples from the previous Cajun-inspired menu with a few new additions. Co-Owner Misti Wullenwaber says to come enjoy live musical performances from SETX locals every Thursday, Friday and Saturday night! Look for Rodair Bar & Grill to focus on boiled seafood these warmer months.
