USCG Captain Dusty has 20+ years of saltwater fishing experience in the waters of Florida, Texas, Alabama, and Louisiana. Sabine Lake has been the main guiding lake since 2015 with opportunities to expand in the future. Capt Dustin is always willing to teach younger anglers or anglers wanting to increase their knowledge on saltwater fishing. You will come away with some great experiences and hopefully lots of fillets that Captain handles for you. (Bring your coolers or baggies for transport)
Our Boat:
Your fishing adventure will be on a 23 Ft Skeeter SX 230 with the ability to get into shallow water for targeted fishing. This boat has the specs to location lock, drop the power poles, run fast, or cruise. We provide the fishing poles, tackle, and storage for your catch. Depending on our timing we will use a combination of artificial and live bait to maximize our efforts.
What to Expect:
During our trip, Dusty is able to read the water, wind, and weather conditions to give you the best change to catch fish like speckled trout, red drum (redfish), flounder and on special occasions tripletail and cobia (weather permitting). Most days start off chasing speckled trout early and moving to redfish as the sun rises and our visibility increases. Sabine Lake is known for catching big numbers of speckled trout and redfish.
