Port Arthur’s Unique Life: Enter this Photo Contest!
Pretty as a Port Arthur Picture
We’re doing it again in 2021! This is our second year to sponsor the Texas Forest Trail Region photo contest. With all the cool winners from our first time around, we want to get that Port Arthur love again!
Here’s some of what fans found in Port Arthur in the 2020 contest: Pleasure Pier is aglow in an orange sunset in Brooke Vernon’s category-winning image in the Port Arthur category of the Texas Forest Trail Region photo contest. We love the action shots, bird views, beach scenes and vistas entered. Thanks to those snappers. Keep visiting! See winners in this totally-Texas 2020 contest here!
Port Arthur’s Unique Life
“Unique,” one-of-a-kind and fun. That’s our category drawing entries in this Texas Forest Trail Region photo contest. Port Arthur offers coastal views and waterside fun with its own flair. We’re proud to be part of the Texas Forest Trail region that extends from the piney woods to Gulf of Mexico. Spend some time in our area and soak up the culture.
Take a Trip
Come on down and experience our corner of Texas, Outdoors.
Our coastal activities draw the adventurous to Sea Rim State Park’s crashing waves and peaceful marshes, Sabine Lake calls sailors and anglers, and our seawall is the site for ship spotting. Gardens at Buu Mon Buddhist Temple and Our Lady of Guadalupe and Queen of Peace shrines offer inspiration for the faithful. Birding and fishing await at Pleasure Island. Check out the seawall for ships. Get a glimpse of our views and share our perspective.
