Queen of Peace Shrine & Gardens

This Hoa-Binh (Area of Peace), featuring beautiful gardens and statue of the Virgin Mary three times life size, was built by parishioners of the Queen of Vietnam Catholic Church in gratitude for their welcome to Port Arthur.  

Mary stands atop a globe and holds a rosary that will sway in the wind. Grounds include Stations of the Cross statutes and greens that lead the eye to the central pagoda.
