Got your shopping done?
Wrap up your holiday shopping with a good cause. The Mistletoe Market supports the United Way of Mid & South Jefferson County on Saturday and Sunday, Oct. 26 and 27, at the Robert A, “Bob” Bowers Civic Center in Port Arthur. With the help of donors and events like the Mistletoe Market the United Way is turning despair into hope every day of the year. The Market is a dreamland of shopping to ring in the holiday season, vendors come from far and near to share their treasurers.
“This year we are excited to introduce an area youth art show and contest to the Mistletoe Market. The talent of area students is outstanding,” Janie Johnson, United Way of Mid and South Jefferson County CEO, said.
“This year Saturday morning we’ll host the Power of the Purse. This event is a NEW designer purse silent auction and drawing. Our feature designers include Gucci, Coach, Tory Burch, Michael Kors and Vera Bradley. Purses in the silent auction will start at a fraction of the retail price and are sure to be a great buy that will support our community,” Johnson said.
Vendors from near and far will transform the Civic Center into a shopping paradise. With a wide variety of merchandise you can wrap up your holiday gift shopping, decorate for the seasons or pamper yourself with a little retail therapy.
The Power of the Purse is a NEW Designer Purse event for the early shoppers on Saturday. Refreshments will be served as you enjoy the silent auction.
