The Rotary Club of Port Arthur will host its first Taste of Summer in Port Arthur.
For 34 years, the Taste of Gumbo has provided scholarships to local high school students. This past year, the group gifted more than $12,000 to students in Port Arthur.
The group canceled the 2022 Taste of Gumbo due to an increase in pandemic numbers. But you know what they say about doors closing and windows opening!
This year our Taste of Summer will include food vendors of ALL types offering samples of their select dishes and beverages. But it doesn’t stop there! Look for local vendors, entertainment for kids including face painting and a Touch-a-Truck event, door prizes, a silent auction that has everything from outdoor grills to a boxing glove signed by Sugar Ray Leonard, live music and a beer garden! Rollin’ Bones is set to play.

Tickets are $10 at the gate.
