PORT ARTHUR, Texas — Southeast Texas Fishing Classic, LLC announced the Inaugural Southeast Texas Fishing Classic, a competitive saltwater Redfish tournament set for Sept. 12 at Pleasure Island on Sabine Lake in Port Arthur, Texas. The event is receiving full approval from the Port Arthur City Council. Rodney Jones Law Group will present this event.
Hosts
Nicholas Rolling and Christian Franks are Southeast Texas natives and Lamar University alumni.
The tournament brings elite saltwater fishing competition to the Golden Triangle while investing directly in the region’s youth. The hosts describe the Gulf Coast as their classroom and fishing tradition as their curriculum, built on the belief that a child with a fishing rod and a mentor has everything needed to learn patience, responsibility, and perseverance.
