Join the third Pleasure Island North Levee Fishing Contest and Cleanup. There’s two main rules: Love to fish, and have fun, says Ronnie Moon, organizer.

Registration is free for this family fun event to beautify the island and catch some big ones. All Texas Parks and Wildlife rules apply. No boats. Fish for speckled trout, redfish (slot limit) and Flounder from the North Levy Road only. Winners will be determined from heaviest fish in each category. Enter one category only.
Registration Details
Register at the S.A.L.T. Club – Saltwater Anglers League of Texas, Sabine Area Chapter, at T.B. Ellison Parkway on Pleasure Island or at the North Levee Gate. Get your trash bag and drawing tickets. Weigh in at the S.A.L.T. Club at 11a.m. and stay for links, door prizes and awards.
