Pleasure Island Fishing Contest/Clean Up

Join the 6th annual Pleasure Island North Levee Fishing Contest and Cleanup. There’s two main rules: Love to fish, and have fun, says Ronnie Moon, organizer.

Registration is free for this family fun event to beautify the island and catch some big ones. Call Shane Jennings at (409) 543-3321 for details. There will be a treasure hunt and heaviest fish gift card and prizes of $100 in each category.
Registration Details
Register at 7 a.m. at the S.A.L.T. Club – Saltwater Anglers League of Texas, Sabine Area Chapter, at T.B. Ellison Parkway on Pleasure Island or at the North Levee Gate. Get your trash bag and drawing tickets. Weigh in at the S.A.L.T. Club at 11:30 a.m. and stay for links, drinks, door prizes and awards.
