We had the best time welcoming Chet Garner and his “The Daytripper” crews around Port Arthur highlights for his always-fun PBS series. You can’t help but grin when this amicable storyteller makes his link from The Boudain Hut  into a smiley face.

Garner went crabbing at Sea Rim State Park, rocked the music hall of fame at Museum of the Gulf Coast, checked out bunkers at Sabine Pass Battlegrounds and cracked crabs at The Schooner, places you’ll want to travel to as soon as your family is able.
