First Presbyterian Church

Distinctive church is historic for art; air conditioning 

Orange philanthropist Frances Ann Lutcher planned and financed this church as a memorial to her family. The Greek-Revival style building was dedicated in January of 1912 and features Texas pink granite and the only opalescent glass dome in the United States. It was one of the first air-conditioned buildings in the U.S. Other features: Woodwork of Honduras mahogany; a 1953 38-rank  Casavant organ; and three J.&R. Lamb art-glass windows.
