Here, you’ll find three slips alongside a decommissioned oil rig and historical marker that tells the story of oil and gas in Sabine Pass. Features include:

- Floating Pier for boarding and offloading
- 2 Covered and Paved Fishing Cleaning Stations
- Cemented walking trail along the channel
- New gravel parking lot with landscaping
A note on directions:
When you drive into Sabine Pass from Port Arthur, take a left onto Broadway Street at the 4-way stop. Broadway Street will dead end and lead you straight to the boat launch. The new parking lot will be on your left.

The iconic 4 Pier Boat Launch is a decommissioned oil rig that once worked the Gulf waters off the coast of Port Arthur, Texas.
Abandoned oil rigs can cause problems if not properly removed, but their underwater structures often support coral, fish, and other marine life. Since 1984, when Congress passed the National Fishing Enhancement Act, many have been converted into artificial reefs.
