Sea Rim Kid Fun
This 2024 event has been postponed because of damage from Hurricane Beryl.
Sea Rim State Park invites kids to cast in the Gulf of Mexico and catch some fun. Kids ages 1-12 are welcome. The first 250 will receive a free rod and reel and event T-shirt. Tackle and bait will be provided. Registration will begin 30 minutes before the event. Entrance fee will be waived for adults with participating kids. Prizes will go to the following age groups: 1-4, 5-8 and 9-12.
Staff and volunteers will be around to help with fishing questions, baiting hooks, unhooking fish, and the like so don’t worry about your experience with fishing.
