Mike Hamilton, who bought Tuffy’s in 2005 and went on to own Catfish Kitchen and The West Bar and Grill, established Hamilton’s Restaurant and Bar when the owner of the Bayou Café in Port Arthur expanded to Baytown.
Hamilton said that while he kept popular items on the menu, such as gumbo and the pontchartrain, he added favorites from some of his other restaurants to expand the menu. Still famous fresh baked rolls. Dark roux gumbo, scratch burgers, and shrimp and chicken dishes.
