Cruise to Port Arthur for the best boating event in the Galaxy!

Texas Mariners Cruising Association said it, so we don’t have to. Pleasure Island rocks.

This group has returned to the island several times for their Spring Fling event and this year the theme is Starship Rendezvous. It’s set for May 3-5, 2019, so May the Fourth be With You!

A little “Star Wars” humor, there.

TMCA has selected the beautiful  Pleasure Island Marina as home base again.  Must be the floating docks, or the beautiful scenery and birding.

We know that Port Arthur hospitality is part of it.

On Pleasure Island guests can enjoy birding and fishing. While in Port Arthur, cruisers may hit the shore for Museum of the Gulf Coast and a look at a replica of Janis Joplin’s psychedelic Porsche. Those who can’t get enough of the water will enjoy Sea Rim State Park.

TMCA is a nonprofit corporation established in 1979 to promote enjoyment of cruisers and is a social club with hundreds of members.
