One visit here and you will find that the Beau Reve’s atmosphere perfectly suits it’s French name , which means “Beautiful Dream.” Owner Becky Bellard caters elegant lunches and special events from weddings to hosting organization meetings at the Beau Reve. The carriage house welcomes up to 150 guests.

Listed in the National Register of Historic Places and one of the oldest landmarks in the city, this colonial-style mansion was built in 1906 by Rome H. Woodworth, an early banker and Mayor. Gladys City provides a unique backdrop for birthday parties, weddings, dinners, receptions, and more! With fifteen re-created boomtown buildings and period furnishings, your guests will leave having a great experience and wonderful memories. Depending on the nature of your event, additional buildings may be available for rental with approval from the museum director.
Full Museum Package includes use of the Caroline Room, the Log Cabin Saloon and Hamill Square, plus guests may tour the museum and grounds at no additional charge.

The Caroline Room
The Caroline Room has approximately 850 square feet of space, with a seating capacity of 60 and a standing capacity of 75-80. Blow the Gusher!
Make your event even more memorable with a re-enactment of the historic 1901 Lucas Gusher on Spindletop. Your guests will be amazed as a plume of water soars 100 feet above our 65-foot derrick. The re-enactment can be the gusher only or a full re-enactment with the gusher, costumed re-enactors and special audio enhancement. Gusher is available only during daylight hours.

The Department Club
