With a candy-coated Sweet Soiree theme, Mardi Gras of Southeast Texas is ready for visitors to taste a family-friendly festival filled with lighted parades, a carnival and concerts, Feb. 4-7 in downtown Port Arthur. Food and music are highlights of this party. Check out the concert schedule below.
Wayne Toups is back! This legend of a Cajun performer has long been a favorite to close out the party with a bang Sunday evening. Sweet Soiree is the 2016 Mardi Gras of Southeast Texas theme for a carnival weekend of lighted parades, concerts and good eating in downtown Port Arthur, set for Feb. 4-7. Look for ladies in sparkling confections of satin and lace and tuxedo-clad gentlemen with vests and bows in every color of the Skittles rainbow.
